Red Hat is changing the way updates are delivered. Starting with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 downloads from RHN through yum are provided by Content Delivery Network resulting in significantly faster download speeds than previously available. This change will in some cases require adjustment to firewall settings or if that’s not possible – disabling location aware updates in RHN.
